It’s been an amazing legislative session. We’ll give you a full update after the dust settles, but we’d love some help now.
Can you take three or four minutes to leave a phone message in support of two essential bills that NAMI Montana has been working on for the past few months.
HB 912 - Rep. Steven Kelly - Establish a forensic mental health facility in Eastern Montana
HB 949 - Rep. Mary Caferro - Require the state of Montana to create a fee structure and rules for community commitments.
You can call (406) 444-3064 and leave a message for up to five Senators. We recommend leaving messages for five Senators that either in your community or close to your community.
The message could be as simple as the following:
“My name is ____________. I am from ____________. I’d like to leave a message for Senator __________, Senator __________, Senator __________, Senator __________, and Senator __________. Please vote yes for HB 912 and HB 949. These bills are critical to rebuilding our state’s mental health treatment system.”
