Local Affiliates
A local NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) affiliate is a volunteer-led group that brings NAMI's mission to a community, providing free support groups (for individuals with mental illness and families), education programs, and local advocacy to improve mental health awareness and services, fighting stigma and building hope. They are grassroots extensions of the national organization, offering direct, local resources and fostering peer connection.
