The training will be held at Jorgenson's Inn and Suites in Helena.

Peer-to-Peer teams are made up of two individuals who have serious
mental illneses and are in recovery from their illnesses.
Peer-to-Peer is a ten week (one day
or night a week for two hours) experiential education course on
recovery for any person with serious mental illness who is
interested in establishing and maintaining wellness.
The course uses a combination of lecture, interactive
exercises and structured group processes to promote awareness,
provide information and offer opportunities to reflect on the impact
of mental illness as it expresses itself uniquely through each
participant’s life. Anyone wanting to become trained as a
Peer-to-Peer instructor must commit two teaching to Peer-to-Peer
courses during the next two years. The curriculum has changed
for this course, so we recommend that anyone who took the training
more than two years ago consider signing up for another course.
September 23-25, 2011,
Support Group Facilitator Training. The
training will be held at Jorgenson's Inn and Suites in Helena.

This is a training to develop support groups for families who have a
family member with a serious mental illness.
Support group facilitators must have a family member or family
members that suffer from a serious mental illness. It is helpful for
the participants to have taken the Family-to-Family education
course, but not mandatory. If you don't currently have a
support group in your community or if you are trying to start an
additional support group, we recommend that at least two people from
the community attend the training.
Anyone wanting to become trained as
Support Group Facilitator must commit facilitate a support group in
their community for two years.
November 2-4, 2011, Montana Conference on Mental
Illness. This year's conference will be at the
Heritage Inn in Great Falls.
