2010 Montana Conference on Mental Illness
The annual Montana Conference on Mental Illness will be held on October 27-29, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Billings. The Conference will examine mental illness and recovery in a manner that will be helpful to consumers, families, providers, and advocates.
The Conference will open up on the evening of October 27th with a reception for the Lincoln Art Show and a screening of "Unlisted: A Story of Schizophrenia." The main speakers and workshops will take place on October 28th and 29th.
Featured Speakers
Mary Garrison, L.C.S.W, A.C.S.W., is an assistant professor of social work at Millikin University. Mary will be addressing systems for providing peer support services for mental illness treatment.
Angela Kimball is the Director of State Policy for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Maggie Jarry M.S. will speak from the perspective of children with parents who live with serious mental illnesses
Cliff Richey is a legend of American tennis and will discuss the most difficult opponent of his life - depression.
